On a laptop, the same site is the window. Gmail creates the account if you are not using Telegram. Desktop Telegram opens the bot if you are. There is no separate desktop program to install. Closing the tab does not delete the account. Deleting is in settings, with a reason, and it does not come back.

Likes and messages spend credits, and the button shows how many. When they run out, you wait, you come back, or you buy. None of those is forced on the first evening.

The two logins stay separate until a future setting connects them. Safety is the same as in the app: no message before a mutual like, no money to someone you just met, report inside the chat.
